California lost to Oregon State, 1-0, in a Pac-10 Conference clash on Sunday afternoon at Paul Lorenz Field. The Golden Bears, who split the season series with the Beavers, saw their record fall to 8-8-1 (2-6-1 Pac-10). Oregon State improved to 7-6-2 (3-5-0 Pac-10).
Cal is winless in its last six games. The Bears' last win was against Oregon State, 4-1, on Oct. 11 in Berkeley.
This time, Oregon State's Colin Mitchell scored the game's lone goal in the 13th minute off an assist by Danny Mwanga.
