COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The California men's gymnastics team took third Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships on Saturday evening. The Golden Bears merited a 345.950, behind first-place finisher Oklahoma's 355.600 and second-place Stanford's 352.100. Air Force was fourth with a 335.950.

Bailey won pommel horse with a 14.900 and finished third in the all-around. Dennis Mannhart was fifth in the all-around.

Bailey took third on floor (15.200) behind Stanford's Eddie Penev (15.850). Ishino tied for sixth with a 15.050. Jeffrey Langenstein was 10th (14.750) and Jean Monteclaro was 19th (13.950).

Bailey was first on pommel horse thanks to his 14.900. Ishino was next in line with a 14.050 in ninth place. Nic Blair took 12th with a 13.850 and Jean Monteclaro earned a 13.500 for 14th.

Steven Lacombe earned bronze with a 15.200. Dennis Mannhart was eighth, scoring a 14.600. Jean Monteclaro tallied a 14.200 for 17th and Bailey was right behind him with a 14.100.

On vault, Jean Monteclaro saw his highest finish of the night with a 14.700 to tie for third. Lacombe took fifth, notching a 14.950. Bailey was eighth (14.700) and Langenstein was ninth (14.650).

Parallel bars saw Jonathan Liu took fourth with a 14.950. Ishino tied for 13th (14.350) while Jim Kerry tied for 17th (13.750). Mannhart tied for 21st (13.650).

On high bar, Mannhart paced the Bears thanks to his fifth-place 14.350. Kerry was next in line, taking 14th with a 13.800. Bailey finished 16th with his 13.550. Ishino was 21st with 13.150.
