White is coming off an ACL injury sustained at the end of last season...appears ready to go based on spring practice...a strong tackling defender who is solid in the air...possesses excellent field awareness...has a strong understanding of the left back position and will challenge for the starting nod.

CAL: 1999: Started Cal's first 18 games before suffering an injury...helped anchor the Pac-10 stingiest defense.

1998: Came on very strong towards the end of the season, starting the final seven matches of the year along the backline...helped limit opponents to just four goals during that seven-game span...saw action in a total of 18 contests during the regular season, including 13 as a starter...notched a pair of assists against Northern Illinois.

1997: Redshirted after suffering a knee injury during spring workouts.

1996: Appeared in seven games as a freshman...made her first collegiate start vs. San Francisco.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Earned first team all-league honors as a junior and senior at Los Gatos HS...was also a All-Central Coast Section choice as a senior...named MVP of her high school team...played for the Central Valley Express club team....molecular and cell biology major...parents are Steve and Eileen White of Los Gatos...born Feb. 23, 1978 in Redwood City.
