Yokers had an immediate impact as a central midfielder for Cal as a freshman and her game continues to get better…beginning to get recognition at the national level, as she competed on the U.S. U-21 Nordic Cup team in Finland…since her freshman year, has gained a lot of strength through a conditioning program…can carve up the midfield and cause teams fits…ability on the ball and to get out of pressure is outstanding…vies for team hardest worker honors.
CAL: 2001: Made 20 starts for the Bears…finished tied for fourth on the team with 12 points (3G, 6A) as a sophomore…her six assists were second-most on the team…selected second team All-Pac-10 and third team All-West region by the NSCAA and Soccer Buzz…also named honorable mention Academic All-Pac-10.
2000: Started 20 of the 21 games she played in…tallied eight points to lead all Cal freshmen…had three goals and two assists…selected to the Bay Area Classic all-tournament team.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Member of the U.S. U18 national team pool…was a three-time all-league honoree at Mt. Rainier HS in Des Moines, WA…two time selection to the Valley News all-area team...two-time team MVP…helped lead her high school team to second in the state in 1999 and third in '97.her club team, the Highline Eagles, won the Washington State Cup five times….legal studies major…parents are Tim and Sally Yokers...born May 24, 1982 in Seattle, WA.
