Mueller is Cal's best defender, according to Coach Boyd...slated to continue holding down the right marking back position...has good size and knows how to use it to her advantage...a mobile back who likes to come forward...strong on tackles and solid in the air...doesn't get beat very often in 1-v-1 situations.

CAL: 2000: Appeared in 21 games at right outside back, including 19 as a starter...tallied her first and only career goal against Arizona...earned All-Pac-10 and Academic All-Pac-10 honorable mention distinction...selected to the Wake Forest Invitational all-tournament team. 1999: Started 16 games for the Bears before tearing her ACL against USC and missing the rest of the season...recorded five assists, including two game-winners...selected honorable mention Academic All-Pac-10. 1998: Redshirted after suffering an ACL tear in April 1998.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Attended Amador Valley HS, where she helped lead the Dons to the 1994-95 North Coast Section title...earned all-league honors and was the East Bay Athletic League MVP following both the 1996 and '97 seasons...considered one of the top 11 players in the West by one recruiting service coming out of high school...was a three-year member of the ODP state pool...mass communications major...born June 14, 1980 in Omaha, NE.
