As a freshman in 1996-97: Earned Pac-10 All-Freshman honorable mention despite missing the last 11 games of the season with a hand injury…tore a tendon in her right pinky finger vs. Oregon State...went on to play in three more games before undergoing surgery that required her hand and wrist to be immobilized and ended her season...team's third-leading scorer (8.8 ppg) and averaged 10.0 ppg in Pac-10 games...played in 17 games overall and made seven starts as a rookie, playing both the off-guard and small forward positions…scored in double figures six times, including a season-high 22 points at UCLA.
Cal softball: Helped lead Cal to a tie for third place at the 1999 College World Series…named 1999 second team All-Pac-10 and first team Academic All-Pac-10 after finishing second for Cal in hitting at .318.named first team District VIII academic All-America...as a redshirt freshman in 1998, started 46-of-48 games in left field and batted .290 with 20 RBI…redshirted the 1997 softball season while rehabilitating the injury to her right (throwing) hand suffered during basketball season.
