Lloyd Named To Pac-12 All-Century Team

BERKELEY – Carli Lloyd, the 2010 AVCA National Player of the Year and a three-time AVCA All-American, was named to the Pac-12 All-Century Women's Volleyball Team on Monday night.

The conference is celebrating its 100th year of existence this season and released the team that spans five decades. Lloyd was one of four setters named to the team.

The team is made up of 16 players and was voted on by a panel made up of current coaches, former players and members of the media.

Lloyd is one of two Cal players ever to appear in two NCAA Final Fours. As a freshman, she led the Bears to their first-ever Final Four appearance in 2007. As a senior in 2010, she helped Cal reached the NCAA championship match before falling to Penn State in the finals.

Lloyd was an AVCA First Team All-American in 2010 and received second team honors in both 2008 and 2009, when the Bears went to back-to-back NCAA Regional Finals.

Former Stanford outside hitter Logan Tom was selected as the Pac-12 Player of the Century and UCLA's Andy Banachowski was picked as the Pac-12 Coach of the Century.
