CORVALLIS, Ore. - No. 7 Oregon State hit a season-best 15 3-pointers to outperform a near-triple-double by California senior Brittany Boyd Saturday afternoon to end the regular season for both teams.

Boyd finished with 15 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists, three steals and two turnovers, but No. 24 California was not able to overcome the sharpshooting Beavers as Oregon State claimed its first outright Pac-12 championships with a 73-55 win in front of 6,238 fans.

The Bears will finish with the No. 4 seed in next week's Pac-12 Tournament with a 13-5 conference record and 21-8 overall. Oregon State finishes the season 25-3 and 16-2 in Pac-12 play.

Reshanda Gray added 20 points and seven rebounds for Cal.

Sydney Weise had 23 points, including a season-high seven 3-pointers, on a night that saw the Beavers go 15-of-26 from beyond the arc. Jamie Weisner scored 11 points and Ruth Hamblin also nearly had a triple-double of her own with nine points, 10 rebounds and eight blocks.

The loss snapped a 15-game winning streak against the Beavers.

Cal jumped out to an 8-0 lead while Oregon State missed its first four shots from the floor. The Beavers made timely 3-pointers to get back in the game, pulling within 16-15 on Ruth Hamblin's jumper before Weise's 3-pointer tied it at 18 with 7:10 left in the first half.

Oregon State took its first lead of the game, at 21-20, on Gabriella Hanson's layup and free throw. Another Hanson layup pushed the lead to 38-24 and the Beavers went into the break ahead 40-26.

Cal closed to within 40-35 on Courtney Range's layup, but Jamie Weisner answered with a 3-pointer for the Beavers.

Weise hit a 3-pointer and the Beavers had a 54-43 lead midway through the second half. Oregon State led by as many as 18 points in the second half.
