SEATTLE - California advances to its third Pac-12 Tournament final and the second in Lindsay Gottlieb's four seasons after taking a 68-55 win over Colorado in the semifinals Saturday night at Key Arena.

Reshanda Gray earned her ninth double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Brittany Boyd finished with a near-triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

The Bears (23-8) will meet Stanford Sunday at 6 p.m. on ESPN in the third edition of the Battle of the Bay this season. It will also mark the third time that Cal and Stanford have met for the Pac-12 title after Stanford came out on top in 2008 and 2012.

All seven Golden Bears that played scored in the game after California overcame a slow start to earn its eight consecutive victory over the Buffaloes. Mercedes Jefflo joined Boyd and Gray in double figures with 10 points.

Colorado (15-17) led by as many as nine points early in the first half before the Golden Bear offense and defense came alive. After Brecca Thomas put the Buffaloes ahead 15-6 with 11:49 remaining in the half, California jumped out on a 12-0 run that was kick started by five consecutive points from Courtney Range to give the Bears an 18-15 lead.

With the game tied 20-20 in the final six minutes, California broke the game open for good with a 9-0 run over a five minute stretch, taking a 29-23 lead into halftime.

The Buffaloes came within five points, 56-51, in the waning minutes of the game, but Boyd and Jefflo combined to close out the game on a 12-4 Golden Bear run.

Sunday's game against Stanford will air live on ESPN with Roxy Bernstein and Mary Murphy on the call.
