Head Coach Lindsay Gottlieb

On today's game:

“Any win in the Pac-12 is going to be a good win so we're really happy to get our first win at home. But I'm happier with how our team won the game. We came out with great energy. I think we won all the toughness categories—points in the paint, secondchance points -- we won all that. I think that says a lot about a young team that came off a bad shooting performance. And when you have a young team the growing points are the most important. I think the last few days really helped us turn that corner. So I'm happy we responded well.”

On having some time off since last game:

“We were happy to have had the time off. I think we used our time well. I think we used the time to look over some film and we're glad we played as well as we did today.”

On taking more of a leadership role:

“I actually reached out to Brittany Boyd and Reshanda Gray and they gave some good feedback that I think will help us tremendously. And we had a team meeting and we talked and told ourselves that it's up to us to decide if we're going to play well everyday.”

Freshman Forward Kristine Anigwe

On how she's been able to stay consistent:

“I think with each game I've become more confident with my own game. And with each game I think we've wanted to win more and that's helped a lot too. And I think that's been pushing the team and myself—the desire to keep getting better. I think the loss at Arizona and Arizona State also helped us to get better.”
