The 66 points allowed by Cal tied the school modern era record for most points allowed in a game. Cal also gave up 66 points against Alabama in 1973. The overall school record for points allowed in a game is 74.
 
Quarterback Davis Webb completed 23-of-47 passes for 262 yards, one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown. He now has 30 TD passes this season, which ranks fourth on the school's single-season list. Pat Barnes is third with 31 from the 1996 campaign.
 
Webb notched his sixth rushing touchdown of the season on the final play of the first quarter, the most by a Cal quarterback since Brian Bedford also had six in 1985.
 
Webb is now fifth on Cal's single-season passing yardage list with 3,176 passing yards. Pat Barnes is fourth with 3,499.
 
Matt Anderson kicked two field goals in the first quarter, from 43 and 30 yards out. He has now made 16 of 18 attempts this season and 32 of his last 35.
 
Chad Hansen is now tied for sixth on Cal's single-season TD reception list (9) and tied for 10th on single-season reception list.
 
Cameron Saffle secured his fifth career sack and his fourth of the season in the first quarter. In the fourth quarter, Evan Weaver notched his second sack of the season and Looney garnered his third.
 
Malik McMorris forced his first career fumble and Demetris Robertson recovered it for his first career fumble recovery.
 
Cal scored 13 points in the first quarter. Entering the game, Washington had only allowed 7 points in the first quarter.
