SAN FRANCISCO --- The Pac-12 Conference announced its 2016 accolades on Tuesday afternoon and a half dozen Golden Bears were honored for their performances throughout the campaign.

Redshirt senior Ifeoma Onumonu capped off her stellar career with a First Team All-Pac-12 selection, matching the first team honor she received as a freshman in 2012 and securing her first all-conference nod since being named a second team selection in 2013. Onumonu has moved into the top five all-time at Cal in goals (33, 5th) and points (82, 4th) this season and is tied for the team lead in goals with ten.

Senior Arielle Ship earned her second all-conference award, adding a Second Team All-Pac-12 selection to her first team laurel in 2015. The 2015 Pac-12 Player of the Year is tied with Onumonu for the team lead in goals (10) and also paces the Bears in assists (6) and points (26).

Junior Emily Boyd & senior Emma Fletcher joined Ship as Second Team All-Pac-12 selections. Boyd, who claimed second team honors for the second straight year, leads the Pac-12 in shutouts (11) and can take over the all-time lead in Cal history with her next clean sheet. She earned a slew of national awards in early October, including NSCAA, NCAA, espnW and TopDrawerSoccer Player of the Week and Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week.

Fletcher started all 20 matches in the Golden Bear midfield, scoring the first goal of her Cal career against Texas Tech on September 2. Fletcher's second team selection gives her two honors in her two seasons at Cal, adding to her honorable mention selection in 2015.

Newcomers Mia Corbin and Abigail Kim joined the upperclassmen as Pac-12 honorees by earning places on the All-Freshman team. Both freshmen played in all 20 matches, with Kim leading all Cal newcomers with three goals and three assists while Corbin added a pair of goals and an assist.

Cal will begin its run in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, November 12 with its first round match against Pepperdine at 1 p.m. in Malibu.
