BERKELEY – The post-season honors continued to roll in for Cal wide receiver
Demetris Robertson on Tuesday when 247Sports and Campus Insiders became the latest media outlets to name him to their Freshman All-American teams. Robertson was a first-teamer on the 247Sports True Freshman squad and a second-team selection of Campus Insiders.
The national honors marked the third straight day Robertson has been recognized among the nation's top rookies after being selected to USA Today's Freshman All-American squad Sunday and the ESPN.com True Freshman team Monday.
Robertson is Cal's first freshman All-American since Keenan Allen was a fourth-team selection in 2010 and the first to earn first-team All-Freshman honors since
DeSean Jackson in 2005.

Robertson has earned Freshman All-America honors from USA Today as well as True Freshman All-American recognition from ESPN.com and 247Sports. Robertson co-leads all freshmen nationally with his seven touchdown receptions, while he is the Pac-12 leader and third among rookies nationally in receiving yards (767) and receiving yards per game (63.9). Robertson is also second in the conference and sixth nationally in receptions (50) while his five receptions of 50 or more yards rank tied for fifth among all players nationally. Robertson broke Cal single-season freshman records by current NFL players Keenan Allen (receptions) and
DeSean Jackson (receiving yards) while also equaling Jackson's Cal freshman mark for touchdown receptions. Robertson was over 100 yards receiving in a pair of contests including his career-high 141 yards on six catches at Washington State, while his nine grabs for 92 yards at USC were a career best. He had a career-high-tying two touchdowns twice in back-to-back contests at Arizona State and vs. Utah. Robertson played in all 12 games with his 11 starts the most by any Cal receiver and his 15.3 yards per reception the highest.
