BERKELEY – Former Cal football players Lorenzo Alexander, Alex Mack and Aaron Rodgers were selected to rosters for the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl scheduled to be played Sunday, January 29, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. Rodgers was selected for the sixth time, while the pick was Mack's fourth and Alexander's second.

Following are mini bios on Cal's three 2017 Pro Bowl selections.
 
Lorenzo Alexander, Buffalo Bills, LB, 6-1, 245
Alexander is having the biggest campaign of his NFL career with career-high totals of 67 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, five passes defended, three forced fumbles and his lone career interception that he returned for 28 yards. His sack total ranks third in the NFL. The Bills are 7-7 and remain in the hunt for an AFC wild card berth.
 
Alex Mack, Atlanta Falcons, C, 6-4, 311
Mack has started all 14 games at center in his first season with Atlanta after spending the first seven campaigns of his NFL career with Cleveland. He has anchored an offensive line that has helped the Falcons lead the NFL in scoring (33.5 ppg), rank second in total offense (412.9 ypg) and third in passing (296.1 ypg). Atlanta currently holds a one game lead  over Tampa Bay for first place in the NFC South.
 
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers, QB, 6-2, 225
Rodgers' illustrious NFL career has continued in 2016 as he has completed 346-of-533 passes (64.9%) for 3,781 yards with 32 touchdowns and seven interceptions for a 100.3 quarterback rating while adding 55 rushes for 314 yards and another three scores on the ground. After having started the season 4-6 through the first 10 games, Rodgers has led Green Bay to four straight victories and has the now 8-6 Packers one game behind NFC North leading Detroit and in control of their playoff destiny.
