LAS VEGAS - Cal wraps up its 2016-17 non-conference campaign on Wednesday night, taking on Arkansas State at 9:15 PT at the South Point Arena. The Bears are coming off an 82-74 win over No. 20 Oklahoma on Tuesday night and have won 11 consecutive games, the third-longest winning streak in program history.

Tuesday's contest marks the second meeting all-time between Cal and Arkansas State, the Bears winning the only other matchup between squads back in the 2006-07 season.

Cal is 11-0 on the year, off to the best start in program history, and boasts the team's longest win streak since Cal won a program-record 16 consecutive games in the 2012-13 season. Sophomore Kristine Anigwe had 32 points and matched her career-high with 15 rebounds as the Bears took down the 20th-ranked Sooners on Tuesday night. The 6'4" sophomore is averaging 23.8 points per game this season, good for fourth in the country. Senior Courtney Range added 13 points and eight rebounds against Oklahoma, and is now just four points away from becoming the 27th player in Cal history to score 1,000 career points.

Arkansas State is coming off an 83-78 loss to Northern Kentucky on Tuesday afternoon. The Red Wolves earned their second win of the season on Monday, beating Kennesaw State 70-67 on the first day of the 2016 Puerto Rico Classic at the South Point Arena. Freshman Jada Ford leads the team in scoring, averaging 11.2 points per game this season and scored 30 points in Tuesday's loss.

A LOOK AT THE RED WOLVES
Arkansas State is 2-9 on the season, splitting its first two games at the 2016 Puerto Rico Classic. The Red Wolves started the season 0-6, but have since picked up two wins in their last five outings.

Freshman Jada Ford leads the team in scoring, averaging 11.2 points per game, and is coming off a 30-point performance on Tuesday against Northern Kentucky. Junior forward Lauren Bradshaw had a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double against Northern Kentucky while senior Dominique Oliver, the team's second leading scorer, had just eight points while battling foul trouble.

Head Coach Brian Boyer is in his 18th season as head coach of the Red Wolves and has led Arkansas State to the WNIT Postseason Tournament each of the last three seasons. The Red Wolves won the Sun Belt regular season title last year while setting a program record for the most wins in a single season (27).

LAST TIME OUT
Facing its first AP Top-25 opponent of the season, the Cal women's basketball team downed No. 20 Oklahoma, 82-74, on Tuesday night at the South Point Arena in Las Vegas. Anigwe had 32 points and 15 rebounds as the Bears improved to 11-0 on the season, one of 10 undefeated teams left in the country. It was Anigwe's seventh double-double and second 30-point performance of the season. Cal's 11-game winning streak is the third-longest in program history.

Cal led Oklahoma by as many as 25 points, but was able to withstand a frantic fourth-quarter comeback attempt by the Sooners, who narrowed the deficit to just three points with almost three minutes remaining. Senior Courtney Range chipped in 13 points, eight rebounds, and four steals while freshman Jaelyn Brown added 11 points and four assists in 20 minutes off the bench.

NEXT UP
Cal will break for Christmas before opening Pac-12 play on Dec. 29 at Arizona (6 p.m. PT). The Bears and Wildcats split both meetings last season, with each team winning on their home court. Cal went 4-14 in Pac-12 play last season, finishing 10th in the regular season standings. The Bears were picked to finish sixth this season in both the preseason media and coaches polls.

REBOUNDS FOR RAMA
Rama N'diaye, a member of the Cal Women's Basketball team from 2006-2011, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer this past July at the young age of 29. As a result of the side effects of her treatments, Rama has not been able to consistently work and therefore has sustained significant financial hardship.
It is our goal as a Cal Family to help support Rama in her fight against Breast Cancer emotionally, spiritually and financially. We've introduced Rebound for Rama to allow our extended Cal Family to participate in that end goal, once again proving that our support extends well beyond the hardwood. Donations may be made based on the number of total rebounds that the current Cal team secures over the course of this season or as a flat rate.

Visit www.pledgeit.org/ReboundsForRama to learn about Rama's fight and please consider joining us in this effort.
