STANFORD, Calif. --- After a Friday that saw California track & field spread out across two Bay Area meets, the Golden Bears wrapped up the weekend by sending a smaller contingent back to Palo Alto for the second day of the Stanford Invitational.

VICTORIES

Karsten Wethington: won the Men's Triple Jump Invite (50-8.75/15.46m)*
Ashley Anderson: won the Triple Jump Invite (42-3.25/12.88m)*

Three Bears were able to set new outdoor personal records on Saturday - Jayla Scholis in the 200 Meters; Luciano Lopez in the Pole Vault; and Ashtyn Davis in the 110 Meter Hurdles...Davis' second place finish and PR in the 110 Hurdles was only .01 second away from victory...Davis, along with Bethan Knights & Ashley Anderson on Friday, either broke into or improved their standing on the Cal All-Time Performers List in their respective events.

Cal will spend the next week preparing for its second home meet of the season - the annual Big Meet with Stanford on Saturday, April 9 at Edwards Stadium.
