Pac-12 Decathlon Ends With Cal In Ninth
SEATTLE --- Freshman Tyler Brendel completed the second half of the Pac-12 Championships' Decathlon Sunday afternoon and placed ninth out of ten competitors in the multi-event competition.
Brendel finished the decathlon with 6,932 points - 90 points off of the season best of 7.022 he set at the Sacramento State Invitational in March.

With his solo run at the Pac-12 Championships complete, Brendel will look to help the full Golden Bear contingent claim team titles when the second portion of the conference meet commences this weekend (May 14-15) back in Seattle at Washington's Husky Track.
