Gopher Invitational
• The 12th annual Gopher Invitational will be held at the Windsong Farms Golf Club with 54 holes of action Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 10-11 with Saturday tee times for 36 holes of play starting at 7:15 am CT and Sunday's tee times for 18 holes of play beginning at 7:30 am CT
• The 14-team field includes Arkansas, Cal, Charlotte, Iowa, Kent State, Michigan State, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pepperdine, San Diego State, SMU, St. John's (Minn.) and Washington
• The weather forecast calls for a mostly sunny day on Saturday with a high of 70 degrees and winds out of the northwest up to 13 miles per hour before a forecasted high of 77 degrees Sunday with winds up to 15 miles per hour from the south
• Cal finished second in the 2015 Gopher Invitational with Collin Morikawa the lone player in the team's 2016 lineup to have participated when he finished tied for 17th in his first collegiate event
