BERKELEY - California travels to Fresno State this Friday in a pivotal game towards a berth in the MPSF Tournament before hosting No. 9 Colorado on Sunday for Senior Day in a game broadcast live on the Pac-12 Networks. The Golden Bears, who currently stand in sixth place in the MPSF standings, are seeking their first berth into the MPSF Tournament since 2013.

In Cal's last two games, the scoring came from Caroline Corzel and Elizabeth Pellechi. Corzel garnered a career-high seven points on a personal-best five goals against UC Davis before scoring four more goals against Stanford, giving her 11 points combined in those contests. Pellechi tallied a hat trick against the Cardinal and also enjoyed a three-point performance (2 goals, 1 assist) vs. the Aggies.

Sunday's game against Colorado will be Senior Day for Cal's seven seniors - Charlotte Biffar, Jena Fritts, Sara Nolte, Elizabeth Pellechi, Wheatley Raabe, Caroline Schlegel and Nicole Vincelette.

Jena Fritts is Cal's leading scorer with 50 points on 37 goals and 13 assists, the team leader in all three categories. Fritts, who paced the Bears in points and assists a year ago, scored a career-best six goals on two separate occasions, at Butler on Feb. 24 and against William & Mary. That total tied for second best in school single-game history.

Jenny Wilkens has 13 career double-digit save performances and seven thus far in 2017. Wilkens was named MPSF Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in her career, as well as the IWLCA Fast Break Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts against UConn on March 14 and in Cal's 18-11 win over Marquette on March 16.

Cal's defensive leader this season, Meredith Haggerty disrupted the UC Davis offense early and often during the Bears' win over the Aggies on April 14. She leads the team in draws with 32 and caused turnovers with 19. She was marked up with Stanford's top attacker in Cal's most-recent game.
