Jordan Selected For World University Games

BERKELEY – Former Cal middle blocker Jenelle Jordan was named to the United States roster for the 2017 World University Games, USA Volleyball announced Monday.

Jordan, who completed her Cal career last season, is one of 12 athletes selected to the roster.

"We are thrilled Jenelle made the University Games roster," Cal head coach Matt McShane said. "It is a huge honor for her to represent her country, as well as Cal.  Jenelle is a huge personality and player, and I am sure the USA team will be much better with her as part of it."

The 2017 World University Games will be held in Taipei, Taiwan Aug. 19-30.

Jordan was a three-year starter during her time at Cal and led the team in blocking in each of the past two seasons.
