Jared Goff Has Huge Monday Night Football Performance To Lead Rams To Historic 54-51 Victory Over Kansas City

BERKELEY – Jared Goff made history when he led the Los Angeles Rams to a 54-51 victory over Kansas City on Monday Night Football to highlight performances by former Cal players in Week 11 of the 2018 NFL season. The contest marked the first time that two NFL both scored more than 50 points in the same contest.

Goff completed 31-of-49 passes for 405 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 117.1 passer rating while rushing for another score on a seven-yard run. His completions and passing attempts were both career bests while his yards passing were the second highest total of his career and his touchdown passes tied for second.

The win improved the Rams to an NFC-best 10-1 and a half-game better than a 9-1 New Orleans team that features another former Cal player in Cameron Jordan.

A total of 20 former players who finished their collegiate careers at Cal are currently on active NFL rosters while 33 former Cal players are affiliated with NFL teams including one suspended by the NFL, three on injured reserve, one on a physically unable to perform list, four on practice squads and four on coaching staffs.
