BERKELEY – After a successful first year at the helm, Cal baseball head coach
Mike Neu continues to work towards laying the foundation for long term success and on Monday the Bears' second-year skipper announced a group of nine new players that will join the team for the 2020 season.
The Bears welcome a class of newcomers that brings plenty of versatility and talent to Evans Diamond. Dylan Beavers, Ethan Cloyd, Ben Lake, Nathan Manning, Nathan Martorella, Kyren Paris, Aaron Roberts, Josh White and Steven Zobac combine to make up a group that will look to contribute in the field, at the plate and on the mound.
"(Assistant coach)
Noah Jackson spearheaded the class and did a great job putting together a really balanced group of guys," Neu said. "We covered every position and put ourselves in position to have some great core players in the future as well as adding on to a solid returning group. We covered everything we need and got a lot of high level players through this process."
