Jordan Kunaszyk has earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors.
SAN FRANCISCO – Jordan Kunaszyk earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors to lead the way for six Golden Bears on the 2018 All-Pac-12 Football team announced Tuesday.
Evan Weaver was a second-team pick while
Luc Bequette,
Camryn Bynum,
Steven Coutts and
Ashtyn Davis earned honorable mention honors. All were part of the team for the first time in their collegiate careers.
Pac-12 Player of the Year and Coach of the Year honors will be unveiled Tuesday evening by the Pac-12 Networks on Inside Pac-12 Football that airs at 5 pm PT.

FIRST TEAM
Jordan Kunaszyk, ILB, 6-3, 235, RSr., 2L, Sacramento, CA (American River College/Roseville HS)
• An All-American and national honors candidate as a 2018 senior who was a semifinalist for the Lott IMPACT Award
• Has started all 12 games and compiled career highs of 133 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss (-55 yards), 4.0 sacks (-24 yards) and five forced fumbles as well as a career-high-tying one fumble recovery
• Ranks first in the Pac-12 and third in nation with 6.9 solo tackles per game while he is third in the Pac-12 and 12th nationally with 11.1 total tackles per game
• Had a career-high 22 tackles against UCLA for the most by a Cal player since 1993 as well as the most by a Pac-12 player and tied for the fifth most nationally in 2018
SECOND TEAM
Evan Weaver, ILB, 6-3, 245, Jr., 2L, Spokane, WA (Gonzaga Prep)
• Has started all 12 games and recorded career highs of 143 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss (-42 yards), 4.5 sacks (-28 yards), two interceptions that he has returned for 47 yards and his lone career touchdown, six pass breakups and one quarterback hurry
• Ranks tied for fifth nationally with 6.4 solo tackles per game and eighth in total tackles with 11.9 per contest
• Has nine double-digit tackle games including a career-high 19 tackles against Colorado and has led or co-led the team in tackles 10 times, both team highs
• Named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week by both the league and College Sports Madness when he had 11 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss and a 37-yard interception return for a touchdown that was Cal's lone touchdown of the day in a 12-10 win over eventual Pac-12 champion Washington
HONORABLE MENTION
Luc Bequette, DE, 6-2, 295, RJr., 2L, Little Rock, AR (Catholic HS)
• Has started all 12 games in 2018 and contributed career highs of 36 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss (-31 yards), a team-high-tying 5.0 sacks (-29 yards) and two fumble recoveries, as well as his first career blocked kick on an Idaho State extra-point attempt
• Earned Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career at USC when he recorded career highs with eight tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss (-20 yards) and 2.0 sacks (-19 yards), as well as a career-high-tying one forced fumble
Camryn Bynum, CB, 6-0, 180, RSo., 1L (Corona, CA/Centennial HS)
• Has started all 12 games in 2018 and recorded 43 tackles as well as a career-high nine pass breakups, and a career-high-tying two interceptions and 1.0 tackle for loss (-1 yard)
• Had a career-high nine tackles at USC and a career-high four pass breakups against North Carolina while his interceptions came at Arizona and against Washington
Ashtyn Davis, S/KR, 6-1, 190, RJr., 2L (Santa Cruz, CA/Santa Cruz HS)
• Has started all 12 games and registered career highs of 45 tackles, a team-high four interceptions that he has returned for 59 yards and his first career pick-six, and five pass breakups, while returning 24 kicks for 629 yards and his lone career kick return touchdown on a career-long 89-yarder against Idaho State
• Tied for second in the Pac-12 and tied for 13th nationally with his four interceptions, while his 0.3 per game are tied for second and tied for 15th
• Shares the Pac-12 lead with two others with his single kickoff return touchdown that ranks tied for sixth nationally, while his 26.2 yards per kick return average is second in the Pac-12 and 16th nationally
• Leads the team with 24 kick returns for 629 yards and is second on the squad with 688 all-purpose yards
• Named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career after a pair of interceptions against Colorado that he ran back 59 yards including a 35-yard touchdown for his first career pick six while adding three tackles, a critical pass breakup on Colorado's final play and four kick returns for 82 yards in the contest to total 141 all-purpose yards
Steven Coutts, P, 6-4, 225, RJr., SQ (Brisbane, Australia/Louisiana/University of Queensland/Citipointe Christian College)
• Has played in all 12 games and punted 63 times for 2635 yards and a 41.8 average
• Leads the nation by trapping opponents inside their 20-yard line 32 times with only two touchbacks, while forcing opponents into fair catches on 21 occasions and registering nine punts of 50 or more yards
• Was named the Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance against Colorado when he punted a career-high tying eight times for a career-high 371 yards including a pair of 50-plus yard punts for the first time in his career to register 46.4 average while also pinning the Buffaloes inside their 20-yard a career-high-tying five times without a touchback with Cal also recovering a pair of fumbles on his punts, Colorado fumbling for a no gain return and a negative return on two others and totaling minus-six yards in punt returns with Coutts also drawing a key roughing the kicker penalty to extend a fourth-quarter drive that helped preserve a 33-21 victory
