BERKELEY - In part three of our Get to Know series with the 2018 Cal baseball coaching staff, we introduce you to another of our assistant coaches, Damon Lessler, who has his own Bay Area and Cal ties to draw on as he comes to Berkeley alongside head coach Mike Neu. A native of nearby Castro Valley, Calif., Lessler came to Cal athletic events as a kid and, even as he embarked on his own professional playing career, has always kept a close eye on what's been happening at Evans Diamond.
