BERKELEY – California prepares for its final road contest of the regular season as they head to the Farm for a Friday-Sunday series with Stanford at Boyd and Jill Smith Family Stadium.

Friday's game is scheduled for a 6:45 p.m. (PT) start, while Saturday's contest is slated for 6:45 p.m. Sunday's series closer will begin at 1 p.m. All games will be televised on the Pac-12 Network. Saturday also provides a rare treat for Cal fans interested in spending an evening in Stanford, with Cal's baseball team closing its series with the second-ranked Cardinal at 7 p.m. at Sunken Diamond.

The Golden Bears (30-13, 4-10 Pac-12) are riding a four-game win streak heading into the weekend, coming off a 3-2, eight-inning win against UC Davis on Wednesday to close its final non-conference road trip, and most notably swept league opponent Utah in a critical series last weekend to keep post-season hopes alive.

The Battle of the Bay with the Cardinal will be another critical matchup for the Bears as they try to add some more wins to the conference ledger with just two Pac-12 series remaining after this weekend.

Current momentum and history is in favor of Cal as the team leads the all-time series versus Stanford 72-29 after cementing a sweep last season with a 9-0, five-inning decision.

Senior Jazmyn Jackson (.365), junior Lindsay Rood (.338) and sophomore Bradie Fillmore (.314) continue to lead Cal's offense in the top of the order and have collectively recorded 93 of the team's 230 runs - that's 40 percent - while also bringing teammates across the plate on 75 occasions. Rood also continues to pressure defenses while on base with a league-leading 23 stolen bases.

The Bears also persists in with the 1-2 tag team in the circle with Kamalani Dung (2.08) and Zoe Conley (2.20) sharing the load, both picking up a pair of wins over the last four games and Conley adding two saves to her clip. Dung remains impressive with a 17-3 record, which ranks fourth in the conference, while Conley leads the Pac-12 with six saves on the season.

Scouting Stanford
The Cardinal (22-23, 2-13 Pac-12) are on the hunt for a win as they look to clip a seven-game losing streak bookended by league sweeps from Oregon State and Oregon. Despite the record woes, Stanford delivered an upset win against now nation-leading UCLA on April 8, with a 4-1 win in Los Angeles and are not to be counted out. The top of the lineup in Teaghan Cowles (.356), Hannah Howell (.342) and Alyssa Horeczko (.313) hold respectable averages at the plate as the team slightly edges its opponents 189-182 runs scored. In the circle, Maddy Dwyer (2.13) carries the load with an 11-7 record, but the Bears could also see Kiana Pancino (3.40, 6-3), Nikki Bauer (3.74, 2-5) or Carolyn Lee (6.60, 3-8), who has made 22 appearances, with 12 starts.
