Bears Break Road Stretch Against Bulldogs
Field Hockey Hosts Yale In Lone Home Game Of Eight-Game Stretch
Cal vs. Yale
California field hockey returns to Berkeley this weekend for its lone home game in a five-week span. The Golden Bears host Yale on Sunday, Sept. 16 before returning to the road for a five-game stretch. The action begins at noon on Underhill Field.
Admission to Underhill Field is free, and parking is available directly below the field in the Underhill Parking Garage. Additionally, the An The Go food truck will also be onsite offering selections such as garlic noodles, vegetable stir fry, meat skewers and more.
The Bears look to bounce back from a pair of losses in Louisville last weekend, falling to two Top 15 foes in No. 2 North Carolina and No. 11 Louisville. Cal is 2-1 at home this season.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS

• Notable: The winner of each game in the series won with three goals.
• Eight players who started 12 or more games last year return for the Bulldogs this year, including the starting goalie and four of the top six goal scorers.
• Imogen Davis leads the Bulldogs with seven points on three goals and one assist.
• Bridget Condie has scored two goals and notched two assists for six points.
• Four other Bulldogs have scored goals this season to outscore opponents 9-4.
• Goalkeeper Sydney Terroso was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week
• Terroso has started all three games with 215 minutes in the cage, allowing four goals with 14 saves for a 1.30 goals against average.
• Yale is off to its best start since 2010 with a 3-0 record, claiming wins over Michigan State, Hofstra and Drexel.
