BERKELEY – One month away from the first official game of the 2019-20 Cal women's basketball season, head coach Charmin Smith and the Golden Bears welcome fans to attend the team's annual Open Practice and Tip-Off Event on Saturday, October 26. All are welcome to watch the 2019-20 Golden Bear squad practice from 12-2 p.m. PT in Haas Pavilion. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with a welcome from Coach Charmin beginning at 11:45 a.m. PT.

Immediately following open practice, fans will have a chance to meet and mingle with the Cal student-athletes and staff out on Spieker Plaza for the annual Tip-Off Event. The carnival-style celebration is free and open to the public, with fun, food, and festivities for all. Spend time with the Golden Bears while taking advantage of the games, music, and Cal spirit station.

The Golden Bears will host two free exhibition games in the lead up to season. Cal takes on Beijing Normal University at 2 p.m. PT on Sunday, October 27, and will host Vanguard at 2 p.m. PT on Sunday, November 3, the Bears' final preparations before officially opening the year at Harvard on November 8. Tickets for the 2019-20 Cal Women's Basketball Season are now available online at CalBears.com or over the phone at 1-800-GO-BEARS. Season tickets, flex books, group, and single-game tickets will be available for purchase.
