Rodgers Collects Third Career NFHCA All-Region Honor

Cal's Junior Was Selected To The West First Team

BERKELEY - California junior Megan Rodgers collected her third consecutive Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region honor, earning a spot on the West Region First Team. This also marks Rodgers' second consecutive First Team appearance after being named to the Second Team as a freshman in 2017. 
 
The San Diego, Calif., product finished the 2019 campaign as Cal's leading scorer with 30 points (13 goals, four assists). Rodgers recorded some big goals, as well, picking up the gamewinner in Cal's 3-2 overtime win vs. UC Davis. At the end of the regular season, Rodgers ranked tied for 22nd in goals and 24th in points among the national leaders. In the Cal record book, Rodgers ranks fourth in career goals (43) and fifth in career points (87). 

Rodgers is one of 160 Division I student-athletes that have been named to Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-Region teams.
 
She adds her latest honor to this season's America East All-Conference nod.
