Bears Mourn Passing Of Alum Scott Cauchois
BERKELEY – The California men's soccer team is mourning the passing of alumnus Scott Cauchois, 75, who passed away in early November.
Â
Cauchois played for the Golden Bears under legendary head coach Bob DiGrazia and garnered All-America honors in 1965.
Â
"Scott Cauchois was such an amazing guy," Cal head coach
Kevin Grimes said. "First and foremost, he was a devoted husband and father, and that's what he will be remembered for most. His teammates at Cal loved him and wanted to be in his company all the time.
Â
"Whenever I was with Scott after a Cal soccer match, alumni game or fundraising gathering, he always smiled and told me how happy he was with the program. One of the all-time great players in Cal soccer history, he will be sorely missed."
