NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – The California men's tennis team concluded its run at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships on Thursday, with Ben Draper and Bjorn Hoffmann falling in main draw doubles and Yuta Kikuchi bowing out of consolation singles at The Tennis Club at Newport Beach Country Club.

Hoffmann and Draper, facing Ohio State's eighth-seeded Robert Cash and John McNally, lost to the Buckeyes, 7-5, 6-4, in the round of 16.

Kikuchi, in the consolation round of 32, lost to Tulsa's Kody Pearson, 6-2, 6-2.

The week isn't over the Cal, though, as another group of Bears will compete in Harvard's Chowder Fest in Boston starting Friday.
