Bears To Play 18 Games On Pac-12 Network

BERKELEY – Featuring 26 home games at Evans Diamond and 18 contests aired on the Pac-12 Network, California announced its 2020 season schedule on Thursday.
 
In addition to 26 home games in Berkeley, Bear fans from around the state of California will have an opportunity to see the team play. Cal will play 12 additional games (38 total) in the Golden State, including weekend series at Long Beach State, Stanford and USC, as well as clashes at UC Santa Barbara, San Francisco and St. Mary's.

After opening the season with four straight road games at Long Beach State (Feb. 14-16) and UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 17), Cal will open its home slate against St. John's on Feb. 21-23. The Bears then host Stanford on Feb. 25 in their first of four meetings in the 2020 Big Series; Cal and the Cardinal return to action on March 21-23 in Stanford.
 
At the end of February, Cal will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to face TCU in a three-game series. The Bears faced TCU in their opening game of the 2019 Fayetteville (Ark.) Regional last May. Three days after the TCU series, Cal will host national runner-up Michigan on March 4 in another marquee nonconference game.
 
Cal will play three consecutive Pac-12 series throughout March with a trips to Washington State (March 13-15) and Stanford (March 21-23) and a home weekend against Oregon State (March 27-29). Nine of Cal's first 12 games in the month of April will be played at home, including conference series against Utah (April 3-5) and Washington (April 17-19).
 
Cal closes its home schedule against UCLA on May 15-17 in between road trips to Gonzaga (May 8-9) and Oregon (May 21-23).

Eight of the Bears' 2020 opponents made the 2019 NCAA Tournament, including four other Pac-12 schools.
