• Cal has a pair of team titles (Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational, The Farms Invitational) and a second-place finish (Southwestern Invitational) over its last three events.  . 
• National Player of the Year candidate Collin Morikawa is the nation's second-ranked golfer according to  Golfstat and No. 3 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, while he is also second in the country with a 68.00 stroke average that is 0.68 strokes ahead of the 68.68 all-time NCAA record he set in 2017-18.
• Cal's lineup includes three seniors (Morikawa, Sebastian Crampton, KK Limbhasut) that have combined to play 130 stroke-play events and 401 rounds at Cal. Crampton (No. 30 Golfweek/Sagarin, No. 42 Golfstat) and Limbhasut (No. 72 Golfstat, No. 78 Golfweek/Sagarin) complment Morikawa's rankings with high national rankings of their own.
• Kaiwen Liu is back in the Cal lineup for the first time since the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 21-23, 2018). After missing the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational to end the 2018 fall season, Liu has played in both events this spring as an individual. He finished tied for 16th at The Farms Invitational to open the spring and a career-best tied for fourth in his most recent event at the Southwestern Invitational.
