BERKELEY – Cal and San Diego State announced Wednesday that the teams have scheduled a two-game home-and-home series in 2024 and 2025. The teams will play in Berkeley on Sept. 14, 2024, and in San Diego on Sept. 13, 2025.

The all-time series between the teams is tied, 4-4, with both teams sporting perfect 4-0 marks at home.

San Diego State was a 45-40 winner over the Golden Bears in their most recent meeting in San Diego in 2016 while Cal captured a 35-7 victory over the Aztecs the last time the clubs played in Berkeley in 2015. The first game of the series was a 28-0 Cal win in Berkeley in 1982.

Cal opens its 2019 season against UC Davis on Aug. 31 (3:30 pm PT, Pac-12 Networks).
