Editor's Note: This is the first in a series of features about The Cameron Institute for Student-Athlete Development.

BERKELEY - The Cameron Institute for Student-Athlete Development is in its first academic year within Cal Athletics. It is a model for developing student-athletes, positioning them to perform at their full potential during their time at Cal and beyond.

Using comprehensive programming and services with a guiding principle called "The California Way," the Cameron Institute was made possible by a $12.5 million gift by C. Bryan Cameron in 2019. Featuring four directors with doctorates and eventually a fully staffed roster of experts, The Cameron Institute aims to be the premier department of student-athlete development in the nation.

The accompanying video provides you with a thorough introduction of The Cameron Institute.
