- Last time Out: The Bears scored early and often in the win over the Bulldogs. Cal scored four times in the first quarter and finished the day with eight goals on 20 shots. The eight goals scored was the second most by the Bears this season. Daniella Rhodes and Bente Baekers scored two goals each. Merel Hanssen, Kike de Bruijne, Olivia Sharratt, and Holly Pears also scored for Cal.
- Player of the Week Times Two: Danielle Rhodes was named the America East Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after scoring two goals in nine minutes against Bryant. It is the second weekly award for Rhodes as a Golden Bear.
- Four Away From 100: Bente Baekers scored two goals last weekend, giving her 96 for her career. With four more goals, she will become the 14th player in NCAA history to score 100 or more goals. Baekers, a graduate transfer from Northwestern, scored 86 goals for the Wildcats. She is tied with Rhodes for the team lead with 10 goals this season.
- Dynamic Duo: After scoring two goals each on Sunday at Bryant, Baekers and Rhodes became the first Cal duo with 10 or more goals since the 2019 season when Megan Rodgers and Katrina Carter finished with 13 and 10, respectively. Rhodes ranks third in the AE and 14th in the nation in goals per game at 0.91. Baekers is fifth in the AE and 17th in the nation.
- Goals Galore: The Bears rank second in the America East with 37 goals scored as a team this season. Cal is on pace to surpass the 49 goals scored by the 2019 team, which is the most scored by the Bears in the last 10 seasons. The program record for goals in a single season by the team is believed to be 79, which was set by the 2006 squad.
- Strong Debut Season: Freshman forward Holly Pears is off to a terrific start for the Bears. After scoring two goals last weekend, the freshman from Yorkshire, England, has four for the year. That's the most by a freshman since Megan Rodgers scored 17 in her breakout 2017 campaign.
