Camryn Bynum Picks Off A Pair Of Passes In MNF Win Over San Francisco

Safety Camryn Bynum had a pair of interceptions, two pass defenses and a team-high nine tackle to lead Minnesota to a 22-17 home victory over San Francisco on Monday Night Football to highlight Week 7 performances by former Golden Bears playing in the NFL.

Seven of Cal's NFL affiliates are members of teams leading their respective divisions after the first seven weeks of the 2023 NFL season with the list including running back Chris Brooks, defensive line coach Austin Clark and linebacker Cameron Goode of AFC East-leading Miami, quarterback Jared Goff and wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. of NFC North-leading Detroit, wide receiver Nikko Remigio of AFC West-leading Kansas City and offensive lineman Patrick Mekari of AFC East-leading Baltimore.

In addition to Bynum's performance and their current place atop their respective divisions, there were two significant developments involving former Cal players leading up to Week 7 games with Brooks placed on injured reserve by the Dolphins following an injury suffered in Game 6 and safety Jaylinn Hawkins being released by Atlanta and subsequently signed by the Los Angeles Chargers later the same day last Wednesday before making his debut for his new team Sunday.

Cal has a total of 25 former players currently affiliated with NFL teams including 12 on active rosters, eight on coaching staffs, four on injured reserve lists and one on a practice squad.

Below is how each fared in Week 7 action along with assorted notes followed by a listing of their Week 8 games and the networks televising those contests.
