BERKELEY – The California football team takes to the road for a 2:30 p.m. PT kickoff Saturday in Eugene, Oregon against No. 6 Oregon at Autzen Stadium. The Golden Bears (3-5, 1-4 Pac-12) and Ducks (7-1, 4-1 Pac-12) will meet for the 86th time in history.

ABOUT THE SERIES
– Saturday will be the 86th all-time meeting between California and Oregon 
– The Ducks lead the series 42-41-2 and have won four of the last five matchups
– Cal's last win against Oregon came in 2020 at CMS, defeating the No. 20 Ducks 21-17 behind a second half defensive shutout
– The Bears' last win in Eugene came in 2007, when sixth-ranked Cal took down No. 11 Oregon, 31-24. Desean Jackson recorded 11 catches for 161 yards and two scores, while Justin Forsett added 101 yards and two touchdowns on the ground

RUSHING THINGS
– The Bears are averaging  200.5 yards rushing per game (3rd Pac-12, 19th NCAA), their most since putting up 235.2 per game in 2005 and more than doubling the 96.6 average in 2022  
– Cal is third in the Pac-12 and ninth nationally with 21 rushing touchdowns. The school record for rushing touchdowns in a season is 34 in 1951
– Jaydn Ott (756), Isaiah Ifanse (365) and Ashton Stredick (200) have combined for 1,321 yards through eight games. The last time Cal had three rushers with 500+ yards in a season was 2015 (Khalfani Muhammad, Tre Watson and Vic Enwere)
– Ott is among Pac-12 and national leaders in rushing, including rushing yards per game (108.0 ypg, #1 Pac-12, #9 NCAA), rushing yards (756, #3 Pac-12, #23 NCAA), rush yards per carry (6.0, #4 Pac-12, #24 NCAA), rushing TDs (8, #2 Pac-12, #22 NCAA), all-purpose yards per game (120.1 ypg, #5 Pac-12, #23 NCAA) and total touchdowns (9, #1T Pac-12, #20 NCAA)  
– Scoring on touchdown runs of 61 and 43 yards in last Saturday's game vs. USC, Ott now has five career TD runs of at least 40 yards 
– Ott has 1,653 yards rushing in his career (2,083 all-purpose yards) and is looking to become Cal's first 1,000-yard single season rusher since Patrick Laird in 2017
– Ifanse ranks toward the top of the Pac-12 and NCAA in total TDs (8, #8 Pac-12, #37 NCAA) and rushing TDs (7, #6 Pac-12, #36 NCAA)
– Ifanse is the first Cal player to have at least three total touchdowns in two separate games of a season since Kenny Lawler in 2015. The last Cal player to score at least three touchdowns in three separate games in a season was Jahvid Best (3) in 2008

TAKE IT AWAY 
– Cal is third in the Pac-12 and is tied for 18th in the NCAA with 15 turnovers gained
– The Bears top the conference and are tied for sixth nationally in fumbles recovered (8), while sitting tied for fifth in the Pac-12 with seven interceptions

OFFENSIVE MINDSET  
– Cal scored 28 first half points in last Saturday's game vs. No. 24 USC, its most in the first half vs. a ranked opponent since 9/17/2016 vs. No. 11 Texas (35). The Bears' 49 points were the most against a ranked opponent since scoring 50 vs. Texas in 2016 
– Fernando Mendoza became the first Cal QB with multiple pass and rush TD in a single-game since Aaron Rodgers in 2003 (Rogers had 2 pass TD and 2 rush TD against Virginia Tech in the Insight Bowl on 12/26/2003)
– Jaydn Ott is the first Bear with two career games of 3 rush touchdowns since Shane Vereen got his second in the 2009 Big Game. Vereen ended his Cal career with three games of 3 rush TDs or more, getting his third in 2010 
– Trond Grizzell set new career-highs in receptions (6) and reception yards (91) against the Trojans on Saturday
