Cal Heads On The Road To Face Pacific
Bears Target Seventh Straight Win Over Tigers
The California women's basketball team, fresh off a win against #19 Alabama will hit the road to take on Pacific at the Alex Spanos Center in Stockton on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT. The Golden Bears (8-1) own a 26-2 series lead over the Tigers (5-4, 1-0 WCC) and have won the last six matchups.
The most recent meeting took place on Dec. 10, 2022 in a 83-66 Bears' win at Haas Pavilion and the last time Cal played at Pacific was in a 92-85 victory on Dec. 17, 2017.
A win on Saturday would match the Bears' best start to a season since they started 9-1 during the 2018-19 campaign.
Pacific is led by ninth-year head coach Bradley Davis who guided the team to a 19-15 record in 2023-24 and a second-round appearance in the WNIT. The Tigers, fresh off back-to-back wins against Houston and Oregon State, are led by Elizabeth Elliot who leads the team in scoring (12.7 points per game) and rebounding (5.8 rebounds per game).
Saturday's game will be streamed on ESPN+.
