SAN DIEGO – California track & field posted yet another solid outing on Saturday at the Aztec Invitational, overcoming rainy and windy conditions to collect a trio of program top-10 times and several top-three finishes at the SDSU Sports Deck.

Once again, the Bears' sprinters and hurdlers stood out, recording all three of Cal's all-time top 10s. The men's 4x100m relay quartet of Chase Williams, George Monroe, Mason Mangum and David Foster kicked things off on the track with a second-place time of 39.73 – fourth fastest in program history. Freshman Donovan Bradley put his name in the outdoor record books with a second-place time of 13.80 in the 110m hurdles, 10th fastest all-time at Cal, while junior Makhaila Mills improved her own program No. 8 entry with a time of 11.58 in the 100m.

Cal's men posted two track event wins in the 100m and 400m, courtesy of Foster (10.47) and junior Isaiah Shaw (46.56), respectively; Shaw's time was over half a second faster than his previous personal best. Senior Jada Hicks posted her best time as a Golden Bear in the 100m hurdles, finishing second at a wind-aided 13.06, while classmate Ryan Lacefield recorded her own personal record in the women's 400m with a third-place 54.19.

The field events were capped off by sophomore Jason Plumb's victory in the men's long jump after he posted a mark of 7.57m (24-10); he was joined in the final by freshman Chukwunonso Udeh, who finished third with a personal-best leap of 7.29m (23-11). Fellow rookie Obi Nwafor recorded a top-three finish of his own, taking third in the men's triple jump with a wind-aided mark of 14.25m (46-9), while senior Amari Turner tied for second place in the women's pole vault at 4.07m (13-4.25) and classmate Skyler Magula took second in the men's contest at 5.51m (18-1.25). Redshirt Toby Lai rounded out the group with a third-place finish in the women's high jump after clearing 1.71m (5-7.25).
