Fall, Harris Added To 2024 Spring Transfer Portal Signing Class
2024 Recruiting Class Now Stands At 40
The California football team announced the addition of OLB Cheikh Saliou Fall (Eastern Kentucky) and QB CJ Harris (Ohio) to the Golden Bears 2024 recruiting class Friday. The pair of additions increase the number of players in the recruiting class to 40 including 23 transfers and 17 coming to Cal directly from high schools. Additional members of the 2024 recruiting class are expected to be announced at later dates.
Below are notes on each of Friday's additions.

Cheikh Saliou Fall – OLB – 6-4 – 255 – Sr. – 5th – Touba, Senegal (Eastern Kentucky/Middletown HS)
– Played in 27 games over four seasons at Eastern Kentucky (2020-23) and contributed 30 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss (-15 yards). 2.0 sacks (-14 yards), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and three quarterback hurries
– Put up his strongest numbers in a career-high-tying 10 games as a 2023 junior when he registered 23 tackles, as well as all 3.5 tackles for loss (-15 yards). 2.0 sacks (-14 yards), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and three quarterback hurries

CJ Harris – QB – 6-4 – 220 – R-Jr.^ – 5th – West Bloomfield, MI (Ohio/West Bloomfield HS)
– Played in 10 career games over four seasons at Ohio (2020-23) and completed 78-of-147 passes for 829 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions for a 106.21 rating, while adding 239 yards rushing on 52 attempts with three touchdowns on the ground for 1,068 total yards and eight touchdowns responsible for
– The last two teams he played for as a 2022 third-year freshman and 2023 sophomore combined for a 20-7 overall record, won a Mid-American Conference title in 2022, had a 13-3 combined MAC record, and were victorious in a pair of bowl games (2022 Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl, 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl)
– Saw his most action as a third-year freshman in 2022 when he played in seven games, including starts in each of the final three and completed 52-of-97 passes (53.6%) for 577 yards with three touchdowns and one interception for a 111.72 rating while rushing 37 times for 168 yards with three touchdowns for a team that finished 10-4 overall, won the MAC title and defeated Wyoming in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl in a game in which he was named MVP
