Craig Woodson continued to shine for a 4-2 New England squad by playing in all 56 defensive snaps and contributing six tackles, along with a fourth-quarter fumble recovery that was the first of his career, in a 25-19 road win at New Orleans to highlight performances by Pro Bears in Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season.
Woodson is one of nine former Cal players on active rosters of teams with records of two games over .500 or better. Keenan Allen – WR, Los Angeles Chargers (4-2, No. 3 AFC, T1st AFC West): Allen had four receptions for 27 yards in a 29-27 Week 6 road win at Miami the week after becoming the fastest player in NFL history and the 16th overall to reach 1,000 or more career receptions during a 27-10 Week 5 home loss to Washington. Allen now has 33 receptions for 316 yards and three scoring grabs in his 13th season overall and 12th campaign with the Chargers in 2025.
Week 7 – Sun., Oct. 19, 1:05 pm PT – vs. Indianapolis (5-1) – CBS
Bryan Anger – P, Dallas (2-3-1, No. 13 NFC, 3rd NFC East): Anger punted three times for 143 yards (47.7 avg, season-high 47.7 net) with a long of 51 on his second punt in a 30-27 Week 6 road loss at Carolina. He also pinned the Panthers inside their own 20-yard line twice and forced one fair catch. Anger has punted 20 times for 941 yards (47.0 avg, 40.8 net) in 2025, including six punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line and five fair catches.

Chris Brooks – RB, Green Bay (3-1-1, No. 2 NFC, 1st NFC North): Brooks had one rush for one yard, as well as one special teams tackle in a 27-18 Week 6 home win over Cincinnati. Brooks has contributed five receptions for 30 yards, two rushes for two yards and five tackles while playing in all five contests off the bench in 2025.

Teddye Buchanan – LB, Baltimore (1-5, No. 12 AFC, T3rd AFC North): Buchanan registered a team-high-tying nine tackles, 0.5 sacks (2.5 yards), one tackle for loss and one quarterback hit in a 17-3 Week 6 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams that followed a career-high 15 tackles and his first career tackle for loss in a 44-10 Week 5 home loss to Houston. Buchanan has played in all six games with starts in each of the last five as a 2025 NFL rookie and leads the Ravens with 49 tackles while adding 0.5 sacks (-2.5 yards), two tackles for loss and one quarterback hit.

Camryn Bynum – S, Indianapolis (5-1, No. 1 AFC, 1st AFC South): Bynum had two tackles and one pass defense in a 31-27 Week 6 home win over Arizona. In his first six games of 2025 (all starts), he has 23 tackles, as well as two interceptions that he has returned 14 yards and four pass defenses. Bynum is tied for fifth in the NFL with his two interceptions, while his four pass defenses are tied for the best on the team.

Jake Curhan – OT, Carolina (3-3, No. 11 NFC, 3rd NFC South): Curhan played in his second game for Carolina in a 30-27 Week 6 home win over Dallas as he saw action on six special teams snaps. Curhan had made his Panthers' debut in a 27-24 Week 5 home win over Miami five days after the Carolina claimed him from the Arizona practice squad. Curhan also played in one game for the Cardinals in 2025 in a 16-15 Week 3 loss at San Francisco.

Ashtyn Davis – S, Miami (1-5, No. 13 AFC, 3rd AFC East): Davis started for the fourth straight game and contributed a season-high-tying five tackles and his first forced fumble of the 2025 season in a 29-17 Week 6 home loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Over six games played and four starts in 2025, Davis has 19 tackles, one tackle for loss, one forced fumble and one pass defense.
Week 7 – Sun., Oct. 19, 10 am PT – at Cleveland (1-5) – CBS
Jared Goff – QB, Detroit (4-2, No. 6 NFC, 2nd NFC North): Goff completed 23-of-29 passes for 203 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a 118.8 rating in a 30-17 Week 6 loss at Kansas City that ended the Lions' four-game win streak. Goff leads the NFL in touchdown passes (14), completion percentage (career-high 75.9%, 132-of-174) and rating (career-high 120.6) over his first six games. His 2025 season has featured an NFC Offensive Player of the Week performance in a 52-21 Week 2 home win over Chicago when he was 23-of-28 for 334 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions for a 156.0 rating, with his five touchdown passes equaling a career high and the rating his third-best ever in a game.

Cameron Goode – LB, Miami (1-5, No. 13 AFC, 3rd AFC East): Goode had one special teams tackle in a 29-27 Week 6 home loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He has played in all six games of the 2025 season off the bench and contributed a career-high seven tackles.

Marcus Harris – CB, Tennessee (1-5, No. 15 AFC, 4th AFC South): Harris was not active for the first time in his career in a 22-10 Week 6 loss at Las Vegas. Harris had played in each of the first five games in 2025, primarily on special teams, where he has played in 98 of his 100 plays on the season. Harris has three tackles and one blocked extra-point recovery.

Jaylinn Hawkins – S, New England (4-2, No. 4 AFC, T1st AFC East): Hawkins missed his first game of the season with a hamstring injury in a 25-19 Week 6 road win at New Orleans that was the Patriots' third straight victory. Hawkins had started each of the first five games in 2025 alongside fellow safety and former Golden Bear
Craig Woodson, contributing 23 tackles, along with one interception that he returned one yard, 1.5 sacks (-9 yards), two tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, one pass defense and one fumble recovery.

Elijah Hicks – S, Chicago (3-2, No. 10 NFC, T3rd NFC North): Hicks participated in 16 plays all on special teams and contributed one tackle in a 25-24 Week 6 road win at Washington that was by the identical score of the Bears' previous 25-24 Week 4 road win at Washington with a Week 5 bye in between. The Bears have won their past three games after starting the 2025 season with two losses. Hicks has played in all five games off the bench in 2025 and contributed four tackles.

Cameron Jordan – DE, New Orleans (1-5, No. 16 NFC, 4th NFC South): Jordan had one tackle in a 25-19 Week 6 home loss to New Orleans and has started each of the first six games of the 2025 season, his 15th in the NFL all with New Orleans. Jordan has compiled 16 tackles, 2.5 sacks (21.5 yards), four tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, one pass defense and one fumble recovery in during a 2025 season in which he has passed Drew Brees as New Orleans' all-time leader in both games played and games started.

Patrick Mekari – OL, Jacksonville (4-2, No. 6 AFC, 2nd AFC South): Mekari started at right guard for the sixth consecutive game and played in 74 of 76 offensive plays in a 20-12 Week 6 home loss to Seattle.

Nikko Remigio – WR/RET, Kansas City (3-3, No. 8 AFC, 3rd AFC West): Remigio had a team-high 126 combined yards on four kick returns for 105 yards (both season highs and the second-most in his career) and one punt return for 21 yards in a 30-17 Week 6 home win against Detroit. On the season, Remigio has played in all six games off the bench and is second on the team with 415 combined yards on 11 kick returns for 292 yards, nine punt returns for 91 yards (both team highs), one reception for 21 yards, and one rush for 11 yards.
Week 7 – Sun., Oct. 19, 10 am PT – vs. Las Vegas (2-4) – CBS
Aaron Rodgers – QB, Pittsburgh (4-1, No. 2 AFC, 1st AFC North): Rodgers returned from a Week 5 bye to lead Pittsburgh to a win for the fourth time in its first five games in a 23-9 Week 6 home victory over Cleveland. Rodgers completed 21-of-30 passes for 235 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for the second straight contest for a 115.3 rating. In his Steelers' debut in Week 1, Rodgers led Pittsburgh to a 34-32 comeback road win in the house of his former team, the New York Jets, by completing 22-of-30 passes for 244 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 136.7 rating that was his best in a game since the 2022 campaign. In the first five games of the 2025 season, Rodgers has completed 95-of-138 passes for 1021 yards with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions for a 105.4 rating that is seventh in the NFL and his highest since posting a 111.9 mark the season he earned his fourth and most recent Associated Press MVP honor in 2021 while still with Green Bay.

Jake Tonges, TE, San Francisco (4-2, No. 3 NFC, T1st NFC West): Tonges had six catches for a career-high-tying 58 yards, as well as a career-high two tackles, in a 30-19 Week 6 loss at Tampa Bay. In the previous game, he had a career-high seven receptions for 41 yards, including a six-yard touchdown catch for the game's opening score, in a 26-23 Week 5 win at the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football. Tonges' 2025 season has been full of accomplishments and highlights that also include his first career start in a 16-15 Week 3 win over Arizona and a heroic performance in a 17-13 Week 1 victory at Seattle when he made a game-winning acrobatic four-yard touchdown catch in the end zone on the 49ers' final drive. Tonges has all 25 of his career receptions this season to rank second on the team, 224 yards receiving, and three touchdown receptions that are tied for first on the squad in 2025.

Nohl Williams – CB, Kansas City (3-3, No. 8 AFC, 3rd AFC West): Williams contributed two tackles while playing in career highs of 36 snaps and 21 defensive snaps in a 30-17 Week 6 home win over Detroit. In the first six games of his 2025 NFL rookie season all off the bench, Williams has 12 tackles, three pass defenses and a downed punt inside the 5-yard line.
