As the 18-week 2025 season nears two-thirds completion, 15 former Cal players are affiliated with teams that have winning records heading into Week 12 games. New England starting safeties Jaylinn Hawkins and
Craig Woodson lead the way with a 9-2 New England squad that has an eight-game win streak tied with Denver for the longest current win streak in the league.
The list of 11 former players on active rosters of teams with winning records heading into Week 12 includes WR Keenan Allen (Los Angeles Chargers, 7-4), RB Chris Brooks (Green Bay, 6-3-1), S Camryn Bynum (Indianapolis, 8-2), OL Jake Curhan (Carolina, 6-5), QB Jared Goff (Detroit, 6-4), DB Elijah Hicks (Chicago, 7-3), OL Patrick Mekari (Jacksonville, 6-4), QB Aaron Rodgers (Pittsburgh, 6-4) and TE Jake Tonges (San Francisco, 7-4).
In addition, S Daniel Scott is on Indianapolis' injured reserve, while Matt Giordano (Chicago, 7-3), Byron Storer (Green Bay, 6-3-1) and Davis Webb (Denver, 9-2) are on coaching staffs of teams with winning marks.
A total of 25 former Golden Bears are currently affiliated with NFL teams, including 19 on active rosters one on injured reserve and one on a practice squad, as well as four members of coaching staffs. Keenan Allen – WR, Los Angeles Chargers (7-4, No. 6 AFC, 2nd AFC West): Allen had four receptions for 53 yards in a 35-6 Week 11 road loss at Jacksonville one game after becoming the all-time leading receiver in Chargers' franchise history during a 25-10 Week 10 home victory over Pittsburgh. Allen now has 56 receptions, 592 yards receiving and four scoring grabs in his 13th NFL season overall and 12th campaign with the Chargers in 2025 during a campaign which has also included becoming the fastest player in NFL history and the 16th overall to reach 1,000 or more career receptions during a Week 5 home loss to Washington, as well as season highs with 11 receptions and 119 yards receiving, along with one touchdown grab, in a 38-24 Week 7 loss to Denver.

Bryan Anger – P, Dallas (4-5-1, No. 10 NFC, 2nd NFC East): Anger punted twice for 93 yards (46.5 avg, 44.5 net) including one inside the 20-yard line in a 33-16 Week 11 win at Las Vegas. Anger has punted 31 times for 1,455 yards (46.9 avg, 41.5 net) in 2025, including 12 punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line and 10 fair catches.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 1:05 pm – vs. Philadelphia (8-2) – FOX
Chris Brooks – RB, Green Bay (6-3-1, No. 6 NFC, 2nd NFC North): Brooks had one rush for eight yards and one tackle in a 27-20 Week 11 win at the New York Giants. Brooks has contributed seven receptions for 54 yards, three rushes for 10 yards and a career-high eight tackles while playing in all 10 contests off the bench in 2025.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 10 am – vs. Minnesota (4-6) – FOX
Teddye Buchanan – LB, Baltimore (5-5, No. 10 AFC, 2nd AFC North): Buchanan had three tackles, one quarterback hurry and one pass defended in a 23-16 Week 11 road win at Cleveland. Buchanan was the AFC's Defensive Rookie of the Month for October with a combined 30 tackles, four tackles for loss and one quarterback hit in three contests, including a career-high 15 tackles and one tackle for loss in a 44-10 Week 5 home loss to Houston. Buchanan has played in all 10 games with starts in each of the last nine as a 2025 NFL rookie and leads the Ravens with 72 tackles while adding four tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks (-2.5 yards), one forced fumble and two quarterback hits.

Camryn Bynum – S, Indianapolis (8-2, No. 3 AFC, 1st AFC South): Prior to a Week 11 bye, Bynum had a big game in a 31-25 Week 10 home win over Atlanta in a game played at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany, with five tackles, one sack for 15 yards and one forced fumble. In his first 10 games of 2025 (all starts), he has 45 tackles, a team-high-tying two interceptions that he has returned 14 yards, 1.0 sack (-15 yards), one forced fumble, a team-high-tying one fumble recovery and a team-high-tying five pass defenses.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 10 am – at Kansas City (5-5) – CBS
Jake Curhan – OL, Carolina (6-5, No. 9 NFC, 2nd NFC South): Curhan has played in each of the last seven games all off the bench after Carolina claimed him from the Arizona practice squad most recently in a 30-27 Week 11 win at Atlanta. Curhan made his Panthers' debut in a 27-24 Week 5 home win over Miami after Carolina and played in a season-high 49 offensive snaps in a 16-13 Week 9 win at Green Bay.
Week 12 – Mon., Nov. 24, 5:15 pm – at San Francisco (7-4) – ESPN
Ashtyn Davis – S, Miami (4-7, No. 11 AFC, 3rd AFC East): Davis returned to action after missing each of the last two games due to injury and posted a season-high seven tackles as a starter in a 16-13 Week 11 overtime victory over Washington in a game played at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain. Davis has 33 tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one pass defense over nine games played and six starts on the 2025 season after signing a one-year contract with the Dolphins prior to the campaign following five seasons with the New York Jets (2020-24).

Jared Goff – QB, Detroit (6-4, No. 8 NFC, 3rd NFC North): Goff had a season-low 60.1 rating in a 16-9 Week 11 loss at Philadelphia as he completed just 14-of-37 passes for 255 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Goff had led the NFL in both rating and completion percentage with career-high numbers in both heading into Week 11 but has dropped to third in rating (110.8) and fifth in completion percentage (69.7%, 202-of-273) with the numbers still the second highest of his career just below his 2024 marks of 72.4% and 111.8. Goff is also second in the NFL touchdown passes (21) and eighth in passing yards (2490) with just four interceptions over his first 10 games (all starts). His 2025 season has included an NFC Offensive Player of the Week performance in a 52-21 Week 2 home win over Chicago when he was 23-of-28 for 334 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions for a 156.0 rating, with his five touchdown passes equaling a career high and the rating his third-best ever in a game.

Cameron Goode – LB, Miami (4-7, No. 11 AFC, 3rd AFC East): Goode contributed one tackle while playing seven defensive snaps and 18 plays overall by adding 11 on special teams in a 16-13 Week 11 overtime win over Washington in a game played at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain. Goode has played in all 11 games of the 2025 season off the bench and contributed a career-high 10 tackles.

Marcus Harris – CB, Tennessee (1-9, No. 16 AFC, 4th AFC South): Harris registered career highs of in defensive snaps (50) and total plays (54) for the second straight game and contributed a career-high four tackles, as well as his second career pass defense in a 16-13 Week 11 home loss to Houston. Harris has played in nine of 10 games in 2025 (all off the bench) and contributed 10 tackles, two pass defenses and one blocked extra-point recovery.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 10 am – vs. Seattle (7-3) – FOX
Jaylinn Hawkins – S, New England (9-2, No. 2 AFC, 1st AFC East): Hawkins had five tackles in a 27-14 Week 11 win home victory that was the Patriots' eighth in a row to tie Denver for the league's longest current win streak. Hawkins has played in and started nine of 11 games in 2025 and contributed 43 tackles, along with two interceptions that he has returned one yard, 1.5 sacks (-9 yards), three tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, two pass defenses and one fumble recovery. His 2025 season included a one-handed interception in a 32-13 Week 8 home win against Cleveland that was called among the best in NFL history and went viral.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 10 am – at Cincinnati (3-7) – CBS
Elijah Hicks – S, Chicago (7-3, No. 3 NFC, 1st NFC North): Hicks contributed one tackle while participating in 18 plays (5 defensive, 13 special teams) in a 19-17 Week 11 road win at Minnesota. Hicks has contributed nine tackles in 2025 while playing in all 10 games all off the bench and primarily on special teams.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 10 am – vs. Pittsburgh (6-4) – CBS
Cameron Jordan – DE, New Orleans (2-8, No. 15 NFC, 4th NFC South): Jordan contributed two tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack (-9 yards) and one quarterback hurry in a 17-7 Week 10 win at Carolina that ended the Saints' second four-game losing streak of the 2025 campaign in his most recent action before a Week 11 bye. Jordan has started each of the first 10 games of the season, his 15th in the NFL all with New Orleans, and compiled 23 tackles, 3.5 sacks (30.5 yards), five tackles for loss, six quarterback hits, one pass defense and one fumble recovery during a 2025 season in which he has passed Drew Brees as New Orleans' all-time leader in both games played and games started.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 1:25 pm – vs. Atlanta (3-7) – FOX
Patrick Mekari – OL, Jacksonville (6-4, No. 7 AFC, 2nd AFC South): Mekari has started all 10 games at right guard most recently in a 35-6 Week 11 home win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Mekari has played every offensive snap five times in 2025 and 89% or more in four of the five others.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 1:05 pm – at Arizona (3-7) – CBS
Nikko Remigio – WR/RET, Kansas City (5-5, No. 9 AFC, 3rd AFC West): Remigio has played exclusively as a returner in each of his last two games most recently with a combined 91 kickoff (3-72) and punt (2-19) return yards in a 22-19 Week 11 road loss at Denver. Remigio has played in all 10 games off the bench in 2025 and is second on the team with a career-high 617 combined yards, while leading the club in both kickoff (17-442) and punt (17-143) returns, while adding one reception for 21 yards and one rush for 11 yards.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 10 am – vs. Indianapolis (8-2) – CBS
Aaron Rodgers – QB, Pittsburgh (6-4, No. 4 AFC, 1st AFC North): Rodgers completed 9-of-15 passes for 116 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions for a 106.5 rating and also had one rush for eight yards but was injured and did not play in the second half of a 34-12 Week 11 home win over Cincinnati. Rodgers has started each of the first 10 games of the 2025 season and completed 192-of-289 passes for 1,969 yards with 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions for a 97.7 rating that is his highest since posting a 111.9 mark the season he earned his fourth and most recent Associated Press MVP honor in 2021 while still with Green Bay. In his Steelers' debut in Week 1, Rodgers led Pittsburgh to a 34-32 comeback road win in the house of his other former team, the New York Jets, by completing 22-of-30 passes for 244 yards with a season-high-tying four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 136.7 rating that was his best in a game since the 2022 campaign. He also threw for four touchdowns in a 33-31 Week 7 loss at Cincinnati.
Week 12 – Sun., Nov. 23, 10 am – at Chicago (7-3) – CBS
Jake Tonges, TE, San Francisco (7-4, No. 7 NFC, 3rd NFC West): Tonges contributed two tackles while playing in a season-high 23 special teams plays and also took five offensive snaps in a 41-22 Week 11 win at Arizona. Tonges, who received extensive action on offense when starting tight end George Kittle missed five of the first eight games, has had several highlights in 2025 including a heroic performance in a 17-13 Week 1 victory at Seattle when he made a game-winning acrobatic four-yard touchdown catch in the end zone on the 49ers' final drive, his first career start and six catches for a career-high-tying 58 yards receiving in a 16-15 Week 3 win over Arizona, a career-high seven receptions for 41 yards including a six-yard touchdown catch for the game's opening score in a 26-23 Week 5 overtime win at the Los Angeles Rams, six receptions for a career-high-tying 58 yards receiving in a 30-19 Week 6 loss at Tampa Bay, and a 2-yard touchdown catch in a 26-15 Week 8 loss at Houston. Tonges has contributed all of his career offensive stats in 2025 with 26 receptions for 226 yards receiving and four touchdown catches. He has played in 31 career games with one start, including 27 contests and the start over the past two seasons with San Francisco after seeing action in four games with Chicago as a 2022 NFL rookie and spending the 2023 campaign on the 49ers practice squad.
