The California women's basketball team (6-1) will look to extend its current six-game winning streak when it faces SEC-opponent Auburn (7-0) to conclude the Hoopfest event at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. PT.

This is the third game in the series between the two programs with the Golden Bears winning each of the two previous matchups, which have taken place each of the last two seasons.

In last year's contest, which was a 63-59 win at Haas Pavilion, the Bears were down by six with five minutes left in the game before Lulu Twidale came to the rescue, connecting on back-to-back 3-pointers to power an 11-0 run and help the Golden Bears come away with the win.

Auburn is currently 7-0 on the season and features a roster that welcomed 10 new players including seven transfers. The Tigers are led by first-year head coach Larry Vickers and boast four players who average double-figure scoring highlighted by Mya Petticord, who is averaging 12.0 points per game.

A win against the Tigers would be Cal's fifth against an SEC opponent under head coach Charmin Smith.

Wednesday's game will be streamed on Flo Sports.
