California men's soccer student-athletes Beau Morrison and Cam Wilkerson were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday. Both Golden Bears are also finalists for the CSC Academic All-America Team.
 
The criteria to qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team as an undergraduate include compiling at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and competing in at least 90% of one's team's games played or having started at least 66% of one's team's total games played.
 
This is the second CSC Academic All-District Team honor for Wilkerson, a senior midfielder who hails from nearby Richmond and transferred to Cal after playing three years at UCLA. An American studies major as a Bear, he has collected numerous accolades for his work in the classroom including being named to the 2022 UCLA Director's Roll, 2023 CSC Academic All-District Team and 2024 Fall Academic All-Big Tean Team. In 2025, Wilkerson started 16 of 18 games played and scored two goals, two assists and six points for Cal. Both of his goals were game winners, with Wilkerson tallying the deciding goal in a 3-2 result at Saint Mary's in the season opener and posting the winner in a 6-1 rout at Radford in October.
 
The CSC Academic All-District Team nod is the first for Morrison, a sophomore defender from Sacramento. An applied mathematics major, Morrison was one of 10 Bears named to the 2024 ACC All-Academic Team. He finished second in minutes played (1,465) for the Bears this season when he started all 18 games and scored two goals, one game-winning goal and four points. His game winner came in Cal's 1-0 ACC Championship quarterfinal victory over Pitt in Berkeley, which led to the semifinal round at top-seeded Virginia in Charlottesville, where Morrison scored his second goal of the year. Morrison was lauded for his efforts in the conference event by being named to the ACC Championship All-Tournament Team.

The CSC Academic All-America First, Second and Third Teams – voted on by CSC members between Tuesday and Dec. 2 – will be announced Dec. 16.
