Masses, who was named to the second team defense, was tied for fourth in the country with five interceptions this season. In the ACC, his five interceptions were tied for the second most.
In addition to his five interceptions, Masses led both the nation and the ACC with 18 passes defended and led the nation with 1.50 passes defended per game. He was also tied for second in the ACC and nationally with 13 pass breakups and tallied 43 tackles in 12 games this season for the Bears.
