Hawkins, Woodson Leading The Way On 11-2 Patriots

California has nine former players on affiliated teams that are leading their respective divisions through the first 13 weeks of the 2025 NFL season.

New England starting safeties Jaylinn Hawkins and Craig Woodson lead the way among six players on active rosters with an 11-2 New England squad that is on top of the AFC East. Other players on active rosters of division leaders include Baltimore ILB Teddye Buchanan (co-AFC North), Chicago DB Elijah Hicks (NFC North), Jacksonville OL Patrick Mekari (co-AFC South) and Pittsburgh QB Aaron Rodgers (co-AFC North).

Cal also has a pair of coaches – Matt Giordano (Chicago Assistant Defensive Backs And Safeties) and Davis Webb (Denver Offensive Pass Game Coordinator/Quarterbacks) – on teams on top of the NFC North and AFC West, respectively while S Daniel Scott is on the Indianapolis injured reserve.

A total of 25 former Golden Bears are currently affiliated with NFL teams, including 19 on active rosters one on injured reserve and one on a practice squad, as well as four members of coaching staffs. Keenan Allen – WR, Los Angeles Chargers (8-4, No. 5 AFC, 2nd AFC West): Allen had four receptions for 30 yards in a 31-14 Week 13 home win against Las Vegas. Allen now has 60 receptions, 622 yards receiving and four scoring grabs in his 13th NFL season overall and 12th campaign with the Chargers in 2025. This campaign has also included Allen becoming the fastest player in NFL history and the 16th overall to reach 1,000 or more career receptions during a Week 5 home loss to Washington, posting season highs of 11 receptions and 119 yards receiving along with one touchdown grab in a 38-24 Week 7 loss to Denver, and becoming the all-time leading receiver in Chargers' franchise history during a 25-10 Week 10 home victory over Pittsburgh.

Bryan Anger – P, Dallas (6-5-1, No. 9 NFC, 2nd NFC East): Anger punted once for a season-long 62 yards (season-high 52.0 net) in a 31-28 Week 13 home win over Kansas City. Anger has punted 35 times for 1,685 yards (48.1 avg) in 2025 and has the eighth-best net average (42.5 net), 13 punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line and 11 fair catches.
Week 14 – Thu., Dec. 4, 5:15 pm – at Detroit (7-5) – Prime Video

Chris Brooks – RB, Green Bay (8-3-1, No. 6 NFC, 2nd NFC North): Brooks contributed two receptions for nine yards along with one tackle on special teams in a 31-24 Week 13 win at Detroit to follow up on his eight carries for 21 yards (both season highs) along with one reception for five yards in a 23-6 Week 12 home victory over Minnesota. Brooks has contributed 10 receptions for 68 yards, 11 rushes for 31 yards and a career-high 10 tackles while playing in all 12 contests off the bench in 2025.
Week 14 – Sun., Dec. 7, 1:25 pm – vs. Chicago (9-3) – FOX

Teddye Buchanan – LB, Baltimore (6-6, No. 4 AFC, 1st-T AFC North): Buchanan had seven tackles in a 32-14 Week 13 home loss to Cincinnati. Buchanan has played in all 13 games with starts in each of the last 12 as a 2025 NFL rookie and is second on his team with 87 tackles while adding four tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks (-2.5 yards), one forced fumble, two quarterback hits and one pass defended. Buchanan was the AFC's Defensive Rookie of the Month for October with a combined 30 tackles, four tackles for loss and one quarterback hit in three contests, including a career-high 15 tackles and one tackle for loss in a 44-10 Week 5 home loss to Houston.

Camryn Bynum – S, Indianapolis (8-4, No. 6 AFC, 1st-T  AFC South): Bynum had six tackles and his third interception of the season in a 20-16 Week 13 home loss to Houston. In his first 12 games of 2025 (all starts), Bynum has 54 tackles, a team-high-tying three interceptions that are also tied for eighth in the NFL that he has returned 14 yards, 1.0 sack (-15 yards), one forced fumble, a team-high-tying one fumble recovery and a team-high-tying six pass defenses.
Week 14 – Sun., Dec. 7, 10 am – at Jacksonville (8-4) – CBS

Jake Curhan – OT, Carolina (7-6, No. 10 NFC, 2nd NFC South): Curhan made his first start of the season and played in all 64 offensive snaps in a 31-28 Week 13 home victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Curhan has played in each of the last nine games (first eight off the bench) after Carolina claimed him from the Arizona practice squad, making his Panthers' debut in a 27-24 Week 5 home win over Miami.

Ashtyn Davis – S, Miami (5-7, No. 11 AFC, 3rd AFC East): Davis registered six tackles in his second straight game as a starter in a 21-17 Week 13 home win over New Orleans. Davis has 39 tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one pass defense over 10 games played and seven starts on the 2025 season after signing a one-year contract with the Dolphins prior to the campaign following five seasons with the New York Jets (2020-24).
Week 14 – Sun., Dec. 7, 1:25 pm – at Green Bay (8-3-1) – FOX

Jared Goff – QB, Detroit (7-5, No. 8 NFC, 3rd NFC North): Goff completed 20-of-26 passes for 256 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a 132.9 rating and also had the second-longest run of his career with a 24-yard rush, but it was not enough in a 31-24 Week 13 home loss to Green Bay. Goff is second in the NFL in completion percentage (69.8%) and rating (110.2) with both numbers the second-highest of his career just below his 2024 career bests of 72.4% and 111.8. Goff is also tied for second in the NFL in touchdown passes (25), sixth in passing yards (3025) and seventh in completions, going 264-of-378 over his first 12 games (all starts). His 2025 season has included an NFC Offensive Player of the Week performance in a 52-21 Week 2 home win over Chicago when he was 23-of-28 for 334 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions for a 156.0 rating, with his five touchdown passes equaling a career high and the rating his third-best ever in a game.
Week 14 – Thu., Dec. 4, 5:15 pm – vs. Dallas (6-5-1) – Prime Video

Cameron Goode – LB, Miami (5-7, No. 11 AFC, 3rd AFC East): Goode contributed the first pass defense of his career on his lone defensive snap while playing a team-high-tying 19 plays on special teams in a 21-17 Week 13 home win over the New Your Jets. The victory was the Dolphins' fourth in their last five games after a 1-6 start. Goode has played in all 12 games of the 2025 season off the bench and contributed a career-high 10 tackles, as well as one pass defense.
Week 14 – Sun., Dec. 7, 10 am – at New York Jets (3-9) – CBS

Marcus Harris – CB, Tennessee (1-11, No. 16 AFC, 4th AFC South): Harris has started each of the last two games at cornerback and registered a career-high-tying four tackles in his most recent start in a 25-3 Week 13 home loss to Jacksonville in which he played in all 63 defensive plays. Harris has played in 11 of 12 games in 2025 including the two starts and contributed 16 tackles, four pass defenses and one blocked extra-point recovery.
Week 14 – Sun., Dec. 7, 10 am – at Cleveland (3-9) – FOX

Jaylinn Hawkins – S, New England (11-2, No. 1 AFC, 1st AFC East): Hawkins had four tackles, one quarterback hit and one pass defended in a 33-15 Week 13 home victory over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football that extended the Patriots' win streak to 10 with the streak the longest current win streak in the NFL. Hawkins has played in and started 11 of 13 possible games while playing on every defensive snap eight times in 2025 and contributing 51 tackles, two interceptions that he has returned one yard, 1.5 sacks (-9 yards), three tackles for loss, four quarterback hits, three pass defenses and one fumble recovery. His 2025 season included a one-handed interception in a 32-13 Week 8 home win against Cleveland that went viral and was called among the best in NFL history.

Elijah Hicks – S, Chicago (9-3, No. 1 NFC, 1st NFC North): Hicks contributed one tackle while participating in 15 plays all on special teams in a 24-15 Week 13 road win at Philadelphia on Sunday one game after posting season highs of three tackles and 16 defensive snaps in a 31-28 Week 12 home win against Pittsburgh. Hicks has contributed 13 tackles in 2025 while playing in all 12 games all off the bench and primarily on special teams.
Week 14 – Sun., Dec. 7, 1:25 pm – at Green Bay (8-3-1) – FOX

Cameron Jordan – DE, New Orleans (2-10, No. 15 NFC, 4th NFC South): Jordan had a huge game in a 21-17 Week 13 loss at Miami with four tackles, two sacks (-12 yards), two tackles for loss and three quarterback hits. The two sacks were his most in a game since he also had two in 20-19 Week 15 home loss to Washington in 2024. Jordan has started each of the first 12 games of the season, his 15th in the NFL all with New Orleans, compiling 29 tackles, team highs of 6.5 sacks (50.5 yards), nine tackles for loss and nine quarterback hits, one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery during a 2025 season in which he has passed Drew Brees as New Orleans' all-time leader in both games played and games started.
Week 14 – Sun., Dec. 7, 1:25 pm – at Tampa Bay (7-5) – CBS

Patrick Mekari – OL, Jacksonville (8-4, No. 3 AFC, 1st-T AFC South): Mekari missed his first game of the 2025 season in a 25-3 Week 13 road win at Tennessee after starting each of the first 11 games at right guard, playing every offensive snap six times in 2025, and 89% or more on 10 occasions.
Week 14 – Sun., Dec. 7, 10 am – at Indianapolis (8-4) – CBS

Nikko Remigio – WR/RET, Kansas City (6-6, No. 10 AFC, 3rd AFC West): Remigio has played exclusively as a returner in each of his last four games most recently with a combined 44 kickoff (1-34) and punt (1-10) return yards in a 31-28 Week 13 road loss at Dallas on Thanksgiving. Remigio has played in all 12 games off the bench in 2025 and is second on the team with a career-high 736 combined yards, while leading the club in both kickoff (21-544) and punt (22-160) returns, while adding one reception for 21 yards and one rush for 11 yards.
Week 14 – Sun., Dec. 7, 5:20 pm – vs. Houston (7-5) – NBC

Aaron Rodgers – QB, Pittsburgh (6-6, No. 9 AFC, 1st-T AFC North): Rodgers completed 10-of-21 passes (season-low 47.6 completion percentage) for 117 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in a 26-7 Week 13 home after not playing for the first time in 2025 in a 31-28 Week 12 loss at Chicago. Rodgers completed 9-of-15 passes for 116 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions for a 106.5 rating and also had one rush for eight yards but was injured and did not play in the second half of a 34-12 Week 11 home win over Cincinnati. Rodgers has started and played in 11 of 13 games in 2025 and completed 202-of-310 passes for 2086 yards with 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions for a 97.7 rating. His completion percentage (65.2%) and rating (95.4) are his highest since posting a 111.9 mark the season he earned his fourth and most recent Associated Press MVP honor in 2021 while still with Green Bay. In his Steelers' debut in Week 1, Rodgers led Pittsburgh to a 34-32 comeback road win in the house of his other former team, the New York Jets, by completing 22-of-30 passes for 244 yards with a season-high-tying four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 136.7 rating that was his best in a game since the 2022 campaign. He also threw for four touchdowns in a 33-31 Week 7 loss at Cincinnati.

Jake Tonges, TE, San Francisco (9-4, No. 7 NFC, 3rd NFC West): Tonges played in 23 plays (8 offense, 15 special teams) in a 26-8 Week 13 road win at Cleveland. Tonges, who received extensive action on offense when starting tight end George Kittle missed five of the first eight games, has had several highlights in 2025 including a heroic performance in a 17-13 Week 1 victory at Seattle when he made a game-winning acrobatic four-yard touchdown catch in the end zone on the 49ers' final drive, his first career start and six catches for a career-high-tying 58 yards receiving in a 16-15 Week 3 win over Arizona, a career-high seven receptions for 41 yards including a six-yard touchdown catch for the game's opening score in a 26-23 Week 5 overtime win at the Los Angeles Rams, six receptions for a career-high-tying 58 yards receiving in a 30-19 Week 6 loss at Tampa Bay, and a 2-yard touchdown catch in a 26-15 Week 8 loss at Houston. Tonges has contributed all of his career offensive stats in 2025 with 26 receptions for 226 yards receiving and four touchdown catches.

Nohl Williams – CB, Kansas City (6-5, No. 10 AFC, 3rd AFC West): Williams contributed one special teams tackle while playing in 26 plays (7 defense, 19 special teams) in a 31-28 Week 13 loss at Dallas on Thanksgiving one game after making his first NFL start and recording a season-high seven tackles in a 28-21 Week 9 loss at Buffalo. Williams has played in each of the first 12 games of his 2025 NFL rookie season with one start in a 28-21 Week 9 loss to Buffalo on Nov. 2, when he registered a season-high nine tackles. On the season, Williams has registered 25 tackles and three pass defenses.

Woodson has played in each of the first 13 games with 12 starts as a 2025 NFL rookie, totaling 63 tackles that rank second on the team, four tackles for loss, three pass defenses and one fumble recovery.
