Cal Begins 8-Game Trip Away From Berkeley

The California softball team (22-5, 5-1 ACC) will head to the East Coast for an eight-game road trip beginning Friday against conference opponent No. 23 Virginia (22-7, 4-2 ACC) on Friday.
 
The Golden Bears will begin the road trip with a three-game series against the Cavaliers, marking the first ACC road test and conference road series in program history.

In two of the last three games against LMU and Northwestern, she recorded three hits and had recorded a hit in seven consecutive games at the time.

.429 – Mika Lee leads the team with a .429 batting, which lands her ninth in the conference.
 
15 – The Bears recorded a season-high 15 runs in their Feb. 23 contest against Northwestern.
 
8 & 25 – Tianna Bell leads the team with eight home runs and 25 RBIs this season.
 
8 – Freshman pitcher Miranda De Nava has recorded eight wins on the season, which is tied for fourth in the conference.
 
8 - Cal has tallied eight run-rule victories this season, including three straight between Feb. 22-28.
 
4 – Cal has hit four home runs on two occasions this season - Minnesota (Feb. 7) and Maryland (Feb. 8).
