LOS CABOS, Mexico – California freshman Ziqin (Eric) Zhou tied his collegiate low 18-hole score with a 5-under-par 66 to move into the top 10 of the Cabo Collegiate on Monday at Twin Dolphin Club.
 
Zhou (-2) jumped 26 spots on the individual leaderboard into a tie for seventh and will enter the final day of the tournament five strokes behind individual leader Tyler Weaver (-7) of Florida State.
 
The Golden Bears (+18) moved up one spot into sole possession of 11th on the team leaderboard with a 3-over-par 287 on Monday.
 
Zhou was dialed in after a bogey on his first hole (No. 15), carding seven birdies, including three in a four-hole span between 3-6. Redshirt freshman Sihao Cong (+2) shot his second 1-over 72 in as many days to remain inside the top 25 in a tie for 22nd, while senior Charlie Berridge climbed five places into a tie for 53rd with a 2-over 73.
 
Cal is eight strokes outside of the top half of the 14-team field with 18 holes to play.
