CHARLOTTE – Three members of the California men's golf team were named to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
 
Charlie Berridge (senior, computer science), Kuangyu (Tony) Chen (redshirt senior, media studies), and Sihao Cong (redshirt freshman, political economy) earned the academic accolade for the first time following the Golden Bears' inaugural season as members of the conference.
 
To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must maintain a career grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, earn at least a 3.0 GPA during the most recent academic semester (spring 2025), and participate in at least 50% of their team's competitions.
 
Chen graduated this spring, while Berridge will return to Cal for a fifth year in 2025–26.
