Former Cal football star Jared Goff was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday for his Week 2 performance in a 52-21 home win over Chicago. The Detroit Lions quarterback completed 23-of-28 passes for 334 yards with a career-high-tying five touchdowns and no interceptions for a 156.0 rating that was the third highest of his career.

Keenan Allen – WR, Los Angeles Chargers (2-0): Allen had five receptions for 61 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown catch in a 20-9 Week 2 win at Las Vegas on Monday Night Football. Allen now has 12 receptions for 129 yards and two scoring grabs in his return to the Chargers after one season with Chicago in 2024.

Bryan Anger – P, Dallas (1-1): Anger punted four times for 191 yards (47.8 avg, 38.3 net), including a season-long 53-yard punt and one punt inside the opponents' 20-yard line in a 40-37 Week 2 home win over the New York Giants. Over his first two games, Anger has punted six times for 278 yards (46.3 avg, 40.0 net), including three punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line.

Chris Brooks – RB, Green Bay (2-0): Brooks played off the bench in a 27-18 Week 2 home win against Washington and contributed three receptions for 27 yards to give him four catches for 29 yards in the season's first two games, as well as one rush for one yard. He also played on 17 special teams plays against the Commanders that was second on the team for the second straight game and has played on 33 special teams plays this season.

Camryn Bynum – S, Indianapolis (2-0): Bynum had his second interception in his second career game with the Colts in a 29-28 Week 2 home win over Denver, as well as four tackles and one pass defense to give him seven tackles, two interceptions and three pass defenses over his first two games. He is one of only two NFL players with a pair of interceptions after two games.

Ashtyn Davis – S, Miami (0-2): Davis played in 34 plays (14 defense, 20 special teams) in a 33-27 Week 2 home loss to New England after posting one tackle and one tackle for loss in his Miami debut in a 33-8 Week 1 loss at Indianapolis. Davis, who signed a one-year contract with the Dolphins prior to the 2025 season after spending his first five campaigns with the New York Jets.

His five touchdown passes against the Bears equaled a career high and his rating was his third best ever in a game. On the season, Goff has completed a stunning and league-leading 80.6 percent of his passes (54-of-67) that are five percentage points better than any other NFL quarterback, while his six touchdown passes are tied for first, his 125.1 rating third and his 559 yards passing fourth. Marcus Harris – CB, Tennessee (0-2): Harris recovered a blocked kick on an extra-point attempt and played 17 special teams snaps in a 33-19 Week 2 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Cameron Jordan – DE, New Orleans (0-2): Jordan played in his 228th game and made his 227th start in a 26-21 Week 2 home loss to San Francisco to tie New Orleans' all-time leader Drew Brees in games played and move within one of Brees in starts, contributing one tackle in the contest. In the first two games of his 15th NFL season, all with New Orleans, Jordan has four tackles, 1.5 sacks (14.5 yards), two tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries and one pass defense.

Patrick Mekari – OL, Jacksonville (1-1): Mekari started at right guard for the second consecutive game and played in all 71 of the team's offensive plays in a 31-27 Week loss at Cincinnati. Mekari has started both contests this season and played in 135 of 137 possible offensive snaps after signing a three-year contract with Jacksonville before the 2025 season.

Nikko Remigio – WR/RET, Kansas City (0-2): Remigio continued to handle the bulk of the return duties in a 20-17 Week 2 home loss to Philadelphia with two kick returns for 43 yards and two punt returns for 42, while adding his first reception of the season for 21 yards to give him 106 all-purpose yards. On the season, Remigio has four kick returns for 99 yards and four punt returns 49, as well as the 21-yard reception to give him a team-high 169 all-purpose yards.

Aaron Rodgers – QB, Pittsburgh (1-1): Rodgers equaled former Green Bay teammate Brett Favre by throwing his 508th career touchdown pass while finishing 18-of-33 for 203 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for a 58.0 rating in a 31-17 Week 2 home loss to Seattle. In his Steelers' debut in Week 1, Rodgers led the Steelers to a 34-32 comeback road win in the house of his former team the New York Jets, completing 22-of 30 passes for 244 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 136.7 rating that was his best in a game since the 2022 campaign. Jake Tonges, TE, San Francisco (2-0): Tonges had career highs of four receptions and 31 yards receiving in a 26-21 Week 2 road win at New Orleans the week after being the 49ers' hero in a 17-13 Week 1 victory at Seattle by making a game-winning acrobatic four-yard touchdown catch in the end zone on the 49ers' final drive. Tonges has seven receptions for 46 yards and the touchdown on the season for his first career stats other than participation.
